In Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district, a three-storey building has been collapsed on the intervening night on Tuesday. This occurred during the ongoing renovation work, leaving several people trapped inside the debris, said the officials.
According to the officials, the three-storey building collapsed in the Bihari Chowk area and a rescue operation has been launched to evacuate the trapped people.
Speaking to the media, Satna MLA Siddharth Kushwaha said, “As per the information we have received, some renovation work was going on, and amid that, this building collapsed. It’s not clear how many are trapped inside; rescue operations are underway.”
