Rotary Prayagraj Platinum recently organised a cycle distribution program for nine needy daughters. The event was a huge success and brought smiles to the young girls who received bicycles.

The Cycle Distribution Program Brings Happiness to Needy Daughters

The program was aimed at helping young girls who travelled long distances to get to school or college. These girls often have to walk for several kilometres, take buses, or tempos, which can be tiring and sometimes even dangerous. The Rotary Prayagraj Platinum team recognised this issue and decided to help by providing bicycles to these girls.

The event was emotional as the young girls narrated their struggles to get an education. They shared their stories of braving crowded buses and tempos and walking long distances to reach their schools. The Rotary team listened with empathy and provided them with bicycles, which brought tears of joy to their eyes.

Efforts of Samar Raj Garg, former circle president of Rotary District 3120

Charter President Ritesh Singh thanked Rotary International for their support. He acknowledged the efforts of Samar Raj Garg, former circle president of Rotary District 3120, in making the program successful.

The program was attended by many dignitaries, including Mandal president (25-26) Dr Ashutosh Agarwal, special guest Pushp Agarwal, and Akanksha Chopra, who introduced the chief guest. Sanjay Talwar directed the event.

Beneficiaries of the Cycle Distribution Program

The cycle distribution program provided bicycles to 9 needy daughters, including Artika Devi, a student of BPS Public School, Kaushambi; Tanu Yadav, a class 11 student of Uday Prakash Inter College, Alaqsa Ajmal, a class 10 student of Police Modern School, Dhoomanganj, Neha Bhartiya, a class 11 student of Gandhi Inter College, Jhansi, Muskan Yadav, a class 11 student of Balabhadra Inter College, Pratapgarh, Sachi Tiwari, a class 12 student of CAV Inter College, Cantt High School, Prayagraj, and class 10 students Tania Bano and Pooja Kumari. Shaista Naz, a student of Mahila Vidyapeeth, also received a bicycle.

Conclusion 

The event was great, and the girls who received the bicycles expressed their gratitude and happiness. They can now easily travel to school, college, and other places, making their lives easier and their dreams more achievable.
