Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: During a compelling address at a public meeting in Dausa, Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader, unveiled a significant commitment for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023.

He declared that if Congress secures victory again, an annual sum of Rs 10,000 will be transferred to the bank accounts of women.

Cylinder Price Slashed to Rs 500

Gandhi also assured that, under a Congress government, the cost of a cylinder would be reduced to Rs 500. He emphasised the party's commitment to education by highlighting the establishment of English schools across Rajasthan, an initiative set to continue in the future.

In a direct jab at PM Narendra Modi, Gandhi criticised the cancellation of the old pension scheme, contrasting it with its successful implementation in Rajasthan, benefiting numerous citizens.

Adani Case and Allegations

Rahul Gandhi didn't mince words when addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's alleged close ties with businessman Gautam Adani. In a bold statement at the rally, he suggested that the Prime Minister should chant 'Adani ji ki Jai' instead of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', implying a perceived prioritization of Adani's interests.

Gandhi emphasised that the true 'Bharat Mata' comprises the poor, farmers, and labourers, asserting that the slogan 'Jai' for Bharat Mata is only justified when these sections of society actively participate in the nation's progress.

Caste Census Advocacy

Accusing the BJP of fostering a divide between two Hindustans—one for Adani and the other for the poor—Rahul Gandhi expressed doubt that PM Modi would ever conduct a caste census. He asserted that the responsibility of implementing a caste census lies solely with him and the Congress party.
