Amid the ongoing assembly polls, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra cast his vote and appealed to the people to participate in the polling process. The former BJP leader reached a polling booth at Mahatma Gandhi Government School in Japiur district to cast his vote on Saturday.
The Rajasthan Governor, while Speaking to media personnel after casting his vote, the Rajasthan Governor said, "I appeal to everyone to take part in voting peacefully."

Voting is underway in the state in 199 out of 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan on Saturday. The polling process began at 7 AM and voters can cast their votes until 6 PM. Earlier, Elections in the Karanpur constituency were adjourned after the death of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar.
The state election is considered to be an important assignment for the BJP, as the ruling Congress is eyeing another term while the BJP is looking to replace Gehlot's government. The BJP is banking on the popularity of iconic Narender Modi, which will be an evaluation of PM Modi's governance as well. The counting of votes will be taken up on December 3.
In 2018 assembly polls, the Ashok Gehlot's party won 99 seats, while the BJP secured 73 seats. Moreover, Ashok Gehlot assumed the CM position with the support from BSP and independent MLAs.
A total of 51,890 polling stations have been established in the state where 5,26,90,146 voters will decide the fate of the candidates in the assembly elections.
