In connection with the suspected gangrape of a woman on Saturday in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, police detained two males. The victim claims that the defendant kidnapped her while she was out for a stroll, transported her to a remote location, and physically mistreated her before gang-raping her.

Despite being unable to bring her garments with her, the woman claimed to have been able to flee the crime scene. Many people refused to aid her as she begged for assistance while completely naked on the streets, labeling her as a crazy person.

Locals to the aid

Some locals offered her clothes to cover her body after hours of suffering, and she told the police. One of the three accused, the woman claimed, was a friend.

The officials act

The police have detained Chhotu (42) and Girdhari (30) in response to her statement.

More on the probe

Vimal Singh Nehra, an additional superintendent of police from Bhilwara, traveled to Gangapur after learning about the incident. He declared that the case is the subject of an investigation. He stated that a forensic team had also been called.

He claimed that one of the defendants had called the victim ahead of the crime and requested to speak with her. Even though they captured the woman while she was out for a stroll at around 7:30 p.m. and committed the crime, he claimed that she had rejected it.

The victim’s broken bangles and the motorbike on which she was abducted are among the pieces of evidence that a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has collected from the scene. Late on Saturday night, a group of protestors held a demonstration in front of the Deputy Superintendent of Police’s office, calling for justice for the woman. The case is the subject of more investigation.
