Rajasthan New Chief Minister: In a significant development, BJP leader Bahadur Singh Koli expressed the popular sentiment that the people of Rajasthan desire Vasundhara Raje to resume her role as the Chief Minister of the state. Koli highlighted this public sentiment, emphasising that it would be officially conveyed in the upcoming party meeting.

Addressing reporters in Jaipur, Bahadur Singh Koli stated, "The people want Vasundhara ji to be the CM, and she should become the CM. In the party meeting, we will assert that she should be the CM again."

Post-Election Developments

Following the presentation of a list featuring 199 newly elected MLAs of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly to the Rajasthan Governor by the Chief Electoral Officer and Election Commission Representatives, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra officially dissolved the 15th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly with effect from December 4.

Courtesy Visit to Vasundhara Raje

In the aftermath of the BJP's resounding victory in the state assembly polls, several newly elected BJP MLAs paid a courtesy visit to Vasundhara Raje, the senior party leader and former Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Raje secured a victory from the Jhalrapatan constituency, defeating Congress's Ramlal.

BJP's Electoral Triumph

Contrary to some poll predictions, the BJP emerged victorious in Rajasthan, securing 115 seats, while the Congress trailed with only 69 seats. However, the BJP is yet to announce its chief ministerial candidate for the state. Notable contenders include Vasundhara Raje, a two-time CM, Diya Kumari, MLA from Vidyadhar Nagar, Mahat Balak Nath from the Tijara constituency, and Rajyavarardhan Singh Rathore, victorious in the Jhotwara constituency. The final decision rests on the impending party meeting.
