Man kills wife on suspect of extra-marital affair in RajasthanAfter killing his wife, the accused, identified as Kanhaiya Lal Malav, stayed with the body in the same bed for the whole night and then informed his brother the next morning, said Kaithun SHO Hari Singh Meena.This incident came to light when the accuseds brother reported the killing episode to the police on Sunday, the SHO said.Victim Meena Thakur, a native of Madhya Pradeshs Jabalpur, was married to Malav, a resident of Kaithun town in Kota district, police said.What happened on Saturday night According to the initial reports, the accused suspected his wife Meena was in a relationship with someone else and he frequently quarrelled with her over the issue, said the police.On returning home from work on Saturday night, he found her speaking to someone on the phone and in a fit of rage, Malav strangled her, said the SHO.The victim, Meena Thakur was brought up and married off by her maternal grandparents in Madhya Pradeshs Jabalpur as her parents died in her childhood, he said.Case filed against accusedFollowing the murder incident, the victims family members, who reached Kota on Monday morning, filed a case against Malav, who was being interrogated and yet to be arrested, the official added.Then, the deceaseds body was handed over to the family after autopsy on Monday, he said.
