Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released its sixth list of three candidates for the Rajasthan, which is scheduled to go under polls on November 25.According to the sources, the party has fielded Girraj Singh Malinga, a Congress MLA from Bari who joined the BJP on Sunday, from Bari.Deepak Kadvasra will contest from Barmer and Arun Amraram Chaudhary from Pachpadra.The list was shared by the partys National General Secretary, Arun Singh on Monday morning.BJP releases sixth list of candidates for upcoming Assembly Elections in Rajasthan. pic.twitter.com/H0CkkTfbGR— ANI (@ANI) November 6, 2023Meanwhile, supporters of former Rajasthan BJP president Arun Chaturvedi staged a protest at party headquarters in Jaipur on Sunday after he was denied a ticket during the release of list of another 15 candidates who will contest the upcoming assembly polls. However, Union Minister and Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat attempted to pacify the protesters after speaking with them.In addition to this, the party gave election ticket to Gopal Sharma from Civil Lines instead of Chaturvedi. The party fielded Ravi Nayyar from Adarsh Nagar instead of Parnami, a former MLA.The protesting supporters alleged that the party has banned BJP workers.It is to be noted here that the Congress won 99 seats while the BJP won 73 seats in the 200-member house in 2018 elections. After which, Ashok Gehlot came into power with the support of BSP MLAs and independents.Rajasthan will go under Assembly polls on November 25, the counting of which will take place on December 5 along with Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana assembly elections.
