Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had a fun and interesting take on their pre-wedding rituals. The newlywed couple shared pictures from this unique ritual where they were seen playing different kinds of sports. The teams were divided into two teams of the bride and groom who played against each other.
Raghav and Parineeti had a dreamy and intimate wedding in Udaipur on Sunday, September 24 in the presence of close family and friends. Raghav Chadha shared the pictures from their ‘sports day’ on his Instagram account on Sunday.

The AAP leader shared these pictures and wrote “Our pre-wedding “rituals”, which included games like musical chairs, lemon & spoon race, the three-legged race, and a friendly game of cricket, were truly delightful. While the Chadhas didn’t emerge as winners in these games, we certainly won the hearts of the Chopras, especially Pari’s, who has become the most loved member of our family. Of course, some of us were left with battle scars!”
Parineeti also shared these pictures on her Instagram account with a long caption, where she explained the games they played such as musical chairs, Jenga, lemon and spoon races, and various other entertaining activities. She also said that all the sports played in school did not prepare her for these activities.
She wrote, “Time to spill the beans on our not-so-traditional rituals, to kickstart our traditional Indian wedding! Musical Chairs: A high-stakes dance-off where everyone cheats; Lemon & Spoon Race: All those years in school sports days did not prepare you for this;Three-Legged Race: More difficult than hitting a cricket century, bruises are inevitable, but the bonds you forge are priceless; Cricket: Watch out for cricket legends within the fam (especially your mother-in-law, who will change the game with a wicket on the final ball, and win the game); The bride uses her bridal power to bring World Cup cricketers to her side.”
In her caption, she also said how these games winning and losing do not matter. She said said games are not always about winning but also about enjoying the moments.
Parineeti’s cousin and global star Priyanka Chopra also arranged a similar ritual for the wedding of Nick Jonas five years ago. Her husband Nick Jonas, his brothers, friends, and Priyanka’s friends had all played cricket on the lawns of their Jodhpur venue.
Priyanka however, could not attend Parineeti’s wedding last week.
