Border Security Force (BSF) troops successfully intercepted a China-made drone carrying narcotics in the farming fields of Roran Wala Village in Amritsar, Punjab, as reported on Monday.

During an area domination patrolling operation ahead of the border fence at approximately 3:40 PM on December 11, BSF troops detected a suspicious item in the farming field near Roran Wala village in Amritsar.

Seizure of Drone and Narcotics

Upon closer inspection, BSF troops recovered a Quadcopter drone identified as a Model - DJI Mavic 3 Classic, manufactured in China. The drone was found to be carrying one packet of narcotics suspected to be Heroin, with a gross weight of 450 grams, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape.

Vigilance Thwarts Smugglers

The vigilant actions of the BSF troops proved successful in foiling the smuggling attempt, thwarting the nefarious designs of those involved in the illegal narcotics trade.

This incident underscores the ongoing efforts of security forces to safeguard the borders and prevent illicit activities, including the use of advanced technology for smuggling purposes.
