Another mysterious blast has rocked the city of Amritsar in Punjab, on Monday morning. The blast has taken place in the same area where it happened on Saturday. As per reports, the incident happened at the Heritage Street of the Golden Temple.

According to the information, the police and the forensic team reached the spot as soon as they got the information about the blast. Apart from this, DGP Gaurav Yadav has denied any terror angle in the blasts after visiting the scene. He added that it was a low-intensity blast in a container. The investigation is still on and they progress to identify the suspect and the motive behind it.

He further said that one person has got a minor injury in the leg and the glass facades of some nearby buildings were damaged. The blast that happened on Saturday and today were low-intensity blasts, as per officials.

Taking it to Twitter, the Commissioner of Police mentioned, “@PunjabPoliceInd is scientifically and forensically investigating the #Amritsar explosions case to find the truth. Law & Order, Peace & Harmony in the state shall be maintained and mischief makers and rumour mongers shall be dealt with sternly.” “The situation on the ground is completely normal. Request citizens and media to fact-check news from official sources,” he further added.
