After word of mouth and concerns about his conduct, Pimpri-Chinchwad police ordered a probe into the matter.According to the probe, Jhende had played the online game without permission and had reportedly given media interviews wearing his police uniform. Then, he was also suspended from duty.Official statementSpeaking about his suspension, Deputy Commissioner of Police Swapna Gore said, “After the investigation, it was found that he played the Dream11 game without permission, leading to his suspension.
