A 16-year-old boy studying in Class 10 was allegedly beaten to death by fellow students belonging to another community in Uttar Pradeshs Prayagraj on Monday.According to the police officials, the incident happened when the victim was on his way to home from school with his cousin sister who also studied in the same school.Reports claim that the victim and accused clashed over some issues in the school but dispute got resolved after the interference of the teachers. It is also claimed that the accused allegedly made comments and harassed his sister while they were on their way. When he objected, the accused thrashed him, leading to his death.However, police claim that reports of harassing the girl have been falsely spread, and the incident was the result of a dispute among the students only. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case in connection with the incident and have also taken three suspects in custody for the interrogation.
