Police Close In On Suspects Linked To Umesh Pal Murder Case

The police have compiled a list of individuals who regularly met with Ashraf, a prisoner at Bareilly Jail. Among the 50 individuals identified, nine people, including Saddam’s girlfriend, who happens to be a former minister’s daughter, have been found to have met with Ashraf most times and are under police investigation.

Raids in Bareilly 

Continuous raids are being conducted in Bareilly as the police continue to search for the suspects involved in the Umesh Pal murder case. Recently, the police carried out a raid on Baradari Fort in Premnagar to locate Saddam and Lalla Gaddi, who are the brother-in-law and close associate, respectively, of Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s brother Ashraf. During the raid, the police took two of Lalla’s acquaintances into custody.

Nine individuals met Ashraf

Furthermore, the authorities have identified nine individuals who have met Ashraf multiple times while he was lodged in Bareilly Jail. Seven of these individuals are residents of Bareilly, while the other two hail from Pilibhit. One of the nine individuals happens to be Saddam’s girlfriend, also the daughter of a former minister.

The wires of Prayagraj’s Umesh Pal murder case have been found linked to Ashraf. A report has been lodged in the Bithri Chainpur police station regarding the Ashraf case. Four people, including the jail constable, have been sent to jail. After this, the main objective of police and agencies is to arrest Ashraf’s brother-in-law Saddam.

Henchman gives information to Ashraf

Saddam did not come to Bareilly after 26 December, but his henchmen continued to exchange information with Ashraf. This includes Lalla Gaddi. Lalla is a resident of the Baradari area of the city. In search of Saddam and Lalla Gaddi, police STF and other agencies are also engaged.

The police have not learned about Saddam and Lalla Gaddi, but their two henchmen have been caught. They are being questioned. These people close to Lalla used to go to jail and meet Ashraf.

Conclusion 

Saddam’s girlfriend, Khushboo, is also under the police radar. Authorities have compiled a list of around 50 people based on surveillance records. Nine individuals, including Khushboo, have met Ashraf for several hours in several rounds. Similar people are being arrested in the first action as police continue their search for Saddam and Lalla Gaddi.
