Today, the Bengaluru Metro Phase phase 2 newest stretch is inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will speak at a large rally while in Karnataka and visit the state’s election-bound areas. Additionally, he has plans to launch several other projects. He tweeted on Friday before travelling to Karnataka, “I will be in Karnataka tomorrow, March 25. The Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research will be inaugurated in Chikkaballapur. After that will be in Bengaluru for the inauguration of the Whitefield (Kadugodi) to Krishnarajapura Metro Line of Bengaluru Metro.”

According to the Prime Minister’s office, the institute of medical sciences and research has been established by Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, Chikkaballapur. During the inauguration of the institute, PM said, “The land of Chikkaballapur has nurtured the mission of service to humanity through yielding education and health to people. These accomplishments have been wonderful. Moreover, the medical college being inaugurated here, today, will further strengthen this great mission.”

PM further added, “India, in her ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, has determined to walk on a path towards being a Developed Country. But the question is raised that how will the country embrace this achievement in such a short span? How will it be feasible?? The only answer to such questions is ‘Sabka Prayas’!”

PM said that with the collective efforts of people, we can get wonderous results towards India’s development. The BJP is focusing on the ‘Jan Bhagidari’. Social and religious organisations have a great role to play in India’s developmental journey.

He further added that their government has worked towards the empowerment of the poor and middle class through quality and affordable medical facilities with over 10,000 Aushadhi Kendras, and over 1,000 out of them in Karnataka itself.
