Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Rajasthan on Wednesday. He hit the news while he was visiting the famous Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara. The visit is said to be a part of his ongoing tour of various states in India to review the progress of various development projects and schemes.

As per the PMO, PM Modi will be inaugurating three national highway projects. These feature 114-km long six-lane Udaipur to Shamlaji section of NH-48, 110-km long widening and strengthening to 4 lane with paved shoulder of Bar-Bilara-Jodhpur Section of NH-25, and 47 km long two lanes with paved shoulder section of NH 58E.

Modi is also expected to lay the foundation stones for road construction projects in Rajsamand and Udaipur. He will also inaugurate some redevelopment projects for Udaipur railway station. The PM is also likely to initiate the gauge conversion project and setting up of an new line from Nathdwara to Nathdwara town in Rajsamand.

Meanwhile, during his visit, PM Modi interacted with the local community and officials to get a firsthand understanding of their needs and concerns.

In his address to the people of Nathdwara, PM Modi highlighted the importance of inclusive and sustainable development. He spoke about the government’s efforts to create a more equitable and prosperous India, and how these efforts were directly benefiting people across the country.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to the rich cultural heritage of Nathdwara, and stressed the need to preserve and promote the town’s cultural legacy. He praised the efforts of the local community in preserving the traditional art and crafts of the area, and promised the government’s continued support in promoting the town’s unique cultural identity.

It should be highlighted that BJP has ruled the state till 2019 and is hoping to make a comeback this year as the state will be witnessing the elections in 2023 year-end.
