Update (May 6, 2023, 1:31 pm): Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding a mega roadshow in Bengaluru which is the last leg campaign ahead of the assembly polls in the state. The assembly elections are scheduled to happen on May 10. The votes will be counted on May 13.

According to the schedule released by the party, PM Modi will travel roughly 26 kilometres while visiting 13 different constituencies. PM Modi welcomed the throng by waving his hands while riding during the rally. In addition, PM Modi has four public meetings and two massive road shows planned for Sunday.

According to sources, the first roadshow will cover a distance of roughly 8 km, while the second would cover a distance of about 30 kilometres.

BJP reschedules PM Modi’s roadshow in Bengaluru

According to the latest updates, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has revised the schedule for the Bengaluru rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event that was planned for one day will now be on Saturday and Sunday. The decision has been taken to minimise the inconvenience to the people, as Saturday is a working day. Today, he will hold the 26 km long mega road show in Bengaluru.

The BJP had previously planned a 36.6 km road show on Saturday, a working day for employees of banks, PSUs, and government agencies as well as for schools and colleges. However, the day-long Saturday roadshow has been shortened by the party to 3.5 hours starting at 10 am.

The details for the change in the programme have been shared by the BJP election management committee convenor and Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje.

The electrifying roadshow will be taken from Someshwara Bhawan (RBI Ground) Kadu to Malleshwara Temple, which is expected to begin at around 12:30 PM. After this, the Prime Minister will address two public meetings, one in Badami at 3 pm and another in Haveri at 5 pm, in Karnataka ahead of assembly elections. Notably, the polls are scheduled for May 10 and the results will be out on May 13.

Sunday will be the final day of the PM’s three-day election campaign, which started on Friday. On Friday, he spoke at public gatherings in Ballari and Tumakuru, and on Saturday, he will do the same in Badami and Haveri. On Sunday, he will speak at public gatherings in Nanjangud and Shivamogga Rural. He will pay a visit to and perform pooja at the well-known Srikanteshwara temple in Nanjangud on Sunday evening to bring his campaign tour to a close.
