Opportunity To Purchase Commercial Plots By KDA: 333 Vacant Plots To Be Sold Via E-Auction; Sale Start

The Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has launched an e-auction process to sell 333 vacant commercial plots in its old schemes. KDA Vice-Chairman Arvind Singh kicked off the e-auction process on Friday, which coincided with the Hindu festival of Holi. 

Interested buyers can purchase commercial plots

Buyers can purchase plots through the online auction process from March 11 to March 31. The available plots are in the Mahavir Nagar extension, Shatabdi Nagar, Swarnajayanti Vihar, and Bhagirathi-Jhanvi Nagar schemes. 

The minimum plot size is 24.6 square meters, while the maximum size is 5500 square meters.

Applicants will receive a 5 percent discount

Successful applicants through the E-Auction Portal who make a one-time lump sum deposit within 90 days of allotment will receive a 5 percent discount on the remaining amount, excluding the registration fee. You can visit the plot’s location via Google before purchasing it.

Schemes to buy a plot

The plot rate per square meter varies depending on the scheme. 

• Bhagirathi and Jhanvi schemes, plot number 130, is available for Rs. 46,000 per square meter.
• Shatabdi Nagar Yojana, plot number 047, is available for Rs. 67,000 per square meter.
• Mahavir Nagar Extension scheme, plot number 135, can be purchased for Rs. 67,000 per square meter.
• Golden Jubilee Extension scheme, plot number 021, is available for Rs. 41,500 per square meter.

To participate in the e-auction process for purchasing commercial plots from KDA, interested buyers need to follow the following steps:

• Visit their website – www.kdaindia.co.in 
• Go to the E-Auction Portal section. 
• Select the desired scheme and view the full listing of available plots. 
• Register for the e-auction between March 11 and March 31.
• Deposit a lump sum within 90 days if successful. 
• Use Google location to view the plot before purchase.
