Odisha: Under-construction culvert collapsed, kills 5

An incident which has been reported from Rayagada district of Odisha on Monday, has killed five people on the spot after an under-construction culvert got collapsed near Uparasaza, Kalyansingpur block. Most of them were children.

According to the officials, several people are could be trapped under debris. On receiving the information, the police and rescue operations team reached the site and started the rescue operation.

ANI reported, “Five people died on the spot when an under-construction culvert collapsed near Uparasaza, Kalyansingpur block of Rayagada district today. A number of people are still feared trapped under debris.”
