Congress MLA Mamman Khan will be produced in district court on Friday in connection with a case pertaining to the violence that took place in Nuh on July 31. According to the sources, heavy security has been deployed outside Haryanas Nuh district court. Mamman Khan was arrested by SIT of Nuh police on Thursday.Meanwhile, as a security measures, mobile internet has also been suspended Nuh district from Friday 10 AM to Saturday 11.59 PM fearing tension in the district.#WATCH | There are charges of inciting violence against him. In addition to this, the administration has also requested people to offer their Friday prayers at their homes. We have appealed to people to offer Friday prayers in their homes: DC Nuh pic.twitter.com/ETOhaFaL2b— ANI (@ANI) September 15, 2023The order from the district administration reads that the move has been taken as there could be a disruption of public utilities and law and order by misusing the internet services. “In order to stop the spread of misinformation and rumours through various social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter etc, on mobile phones and SMA, for facilitation and mobilisation of mobs or agitators and demonstrators who can cause serious loss of life and damage to public and private properties by indulging in arson, vandalism and other type of violent activities,” the order read.The violence that erupted in Haryanas Nuh has claimed six lives including two policemen, while 88 others got injured.
