Following communal clashes in Haryana’s Nuh and Gurugram, as a precautionary measure, the government has urged the Muslim community in Gurugram to offer Friday prayers at home.
Notably, six people died after the communal clashes broke out in Haryana’s Nuh on July 31, when a mob attacked the procession led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad. According to the information, the mob- around 2,500 people attacked the procession, which led Hindus to rush to the nearest Temple to take shelter.
As per updates, a total of 23 accused assailants have been arrested in connection to the recent clashes in Haryana’s Nuh who were produced before the court on Thursday, and were later sent to police remand for up to 5 days.
“A total of 23 accused in 6 different cases were produced before the court today. The accused in FIR No. 261 was sent to 4-day remand. One accused was sent to 3-day remand, five accused sent to 4-day remand, and the remaining sent to 5-day remand,” said the Counsel of the accused on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Home Minister of Haryana, Anil Vij informed that at least 83 FIRs have got registered and 159 people have been arrested in connection with the clashes.
Apart from this, Nuh police have also registered FIRs against three people over an inflammatory speech video that got surfaced on social media after which violence got erupted in the districts of Haryana.
