The increase in the operational speed has also brought IGI Airport much closer to Delhis centre Rajiv Chowk.According to the officials, the maximum travel time from New Delhi to Dwarka Sector 21 Metro station has been reduced to just 20 minutes. The milestone has not only highlighted DMRCs commitments but also talks about the excellence for the passengers travelling to the airport. It also emphasised the combination of high-speed travel and hassle-free connectivity to the airport and offers the passengers convenient and economical travel.Cashless tickets are available now!Recently, the DMRC has taken several measures to ensure a safe and convenient experience in terms of fast and cashless ticketing options through QR codes and WhatsApp-based ticketing which eliminates the need for travellers especially those arriving from abroad to go to ticket counters/stand in queue.In March, the operational speed of the Airport Express Line was increased from 90 kmph to 100 kmph. However, now its high time to get green signals to boost the speed from 110 kmph to 120 kmph, resulting time save of 19 minutes.
