In an unfortunate incident, a 73-year-old woman named Susila Devi died as the lift she was in, fell from the 8th floor on Thursday. The incident comes from Paras Tierra Society in Noida Sector 137. The lift suffered a free-fall from the 8th floor.After the incident the woman was immediately admitted to Felix Hospital, where she was declared dead by doctors. According to Police, she had head injuries.As per reports, Susila Devi was living with her son and daughter-in-law in the society. She was alone in the lift.It should be noted that these kinds of accidents have happened in the past as well in high-rise societies in Noida. Recently on July 28, a lift fell in a society in Sector 63 where the suspension of the lift broke and it fell injuring a young man who succumbed in hospital.
