The police officials on Monday found a 61-year-old Supreme Court lawyer dead inside her house in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. According to the police officials, the body was found in a bathroom of the house in Sector 30 on Sunday after her brother Amit informed the local police station that she had not answered her phone calls for the last two days, they said.

According to the police officials, the victim’s brother has accused his brother-in-law of killing his sister. The accused has been identified as Nitin Nath Sinha, who has now been arrested, reportedly he was hidden in the bungalow’s store room for more than 36 hours before police tracked down his phone and caught him.

Soon after getting the complaint from victim’s brother, the police reached the bungalow and found the woman’s body. They also tracked down her husband, who was missing from the location. After tracking down the mobile location, police officials found him hiding in the store room.

Preliminary investigation and statement of victim’s brother said that there had been frequent fights between the couple over selling the bungalow. The accused wanted to sell the property but the lady was not agreed to it, which led to dispute between them.

Now, police have arrested the accused and probe in connection with the case is underway.
