The reports around G20 Summit are making waves across the country. To add to the fever, certain names have been making headlines for their possible absence and presence in the Summit. Among the distinguished names, is Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who has nodded for his presence in the esteemed President’s G20 dinner.

Nitish Kumar to attend G20 dinner

The President’s G20 dinner has been in the eye of a political storm after invitations to the event mentioned President Murmu as ‘ The President of Bharat’ instead of ‘ The President of India’.
Meanwhile, amid the controversy related to renaming of the name of country to Bharat, former Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and HD Deve Gowda have also been invited by the Centre for the G20 dinner.

Other prominent politicians likely to join this high-level dinner

However, so far there is no confirmation regarding their presence in the dinner.
Besides Nitish Kumar, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee will also be joining in for Saturday dinner.
Meanwhile, the G20 Summit is scheduled to be held on September 8-10 in Delhi, and will be hosting some top leaders from various countries like the US, the UK, Canada, and the European Union.
The Summit will be held at the newly inaugurated Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, which has been decked up royally to welcome foreign ministers.
Around 500 business leaders are expected to be present in the Summit.
