At least nine people have been killed in two different blasts that ripped through firecracker factories in Tamil Nadu‘s Virudhunagar on Tuesday.

According to the police officials, the first explosion took place in Virudhunagar district and the second explosion took place in yet another unit in Kammapatti village in the same district.

Soon after getting the information, the fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
