As several roads are turned into small rivers, the rescue and evacuation process has been conducted by NDRF (National Disaster Response Force). Over 25,000 people have been shifted to safer places. Among the evacuees, many stranded animals like dogs, and cattle are also there. In the rescue operation in Noida, one of the notable evacuees is a bull from the coveted ‘Pritam’ bloodline, which costs an eye-popping price of Rs 1 crore. Yes! the bull costs Rs 1 crore.

Here’s the post:

Sharing photos and videos of the team rescuing cattle and goats, the 8th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in Ghaziabad tweeted, “Team @8NdrfGhaziabad has rescued 3 cattle including India’s No.1 Bull “PRITAM” costing 1 Cr. from Noida. NDRF teams are working hard to save lives in flood-affected areas.”

The bull of the ‘Pritam’ bloodline is called India’s number one.

Nearly 6,000 animals, including cattle, dogs, rabbits, ducks, roosters, and guinea pigs, have also been moved out of submerged areas to safety since Thursday, said the officials.

Yamuna’s water level has come down today

Taking notes from the current situation of the flood chaos, the water level in the Yamuna, which has shattered a 45-year-old record this year, has come down to 207.68 metres today, but it is still two metres over the danger mark. However, the city is still deluged with floodwater.
