BJP Maharashtra unit minority chief Sana Khan who has been missing from last one week has been found dead in a river. According to police officials, Sana was brutally murdered by her husband, who threw her body in the Hiran River after killing her.The accused Amit alias Pappu Shah has been arrested in a joint operation by Jabalpur and Nagpur police.According to the police investigation Sana had gone to Maharashtras Jabalpur from Nagpur to meet Amit and was planned to return back in two days. But she was murdered there. The police also informed that Amit who also involved in liquor smuggling and runs a road side eatery in Jabalpur was having disputes with Sana for financial reasons.During the interrogation, Amit confessed his crime and said that Sana was beaten to death in his own house. He then disposed the body at the Hiran River which is approximately 45 kilemetres away from his house. Police if now conduction a search operation at the premises along with the accused. Investigation is on by the police officials.
