A heart-wrenching incident happened in Mumbai’s Goregaon, when a massive fire broke out at a building, killing at least seven people and over 50 others were injured on Friday.
The fire incident happened in the wee hours of Friday nearly at 3 am.

Details from other private hospitals where the injured were taken are awaited.
During the ablaze, several two-wheelers and cars were destroyed.
A video showed firefighting operations underway at the building.
According to the reports, the fire broke out in the parking area of a seven-storey building. However, the cause of the fire is still unknown.

Upon receiving the information, the police and the firefighters immediately rushed to the incident spot to rescue people. They started a rescue operation and shifted the injured people to a nearby hospital for treatment.
As per the locals, the cloth lying in the parking area had caught fire after which the blaze spread to the entire area.
Meanwhile, investigations were underway to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
