A horrific incident has been reported from Odishas Kandhamal district, where a man allegedly killed his 92-year-old mother after a heated argument and then set her body on fire. According to the police officials, the man was released from the jail a week ago only. He was undergoing imprisonment from three years in a crime case.What is the case all aboutAccording to preliminary investigation, the man killed his 92-year-old mother after a heated argument and then set her on fire in Odishas Kandhamal district. The incident has been reported at Khajurisahi near Badimunda village in the district. The deceased has been identified as Manjula Nayak and accused as Samir Kumar Nayak, 45 years. Both of them were alone in the house when the incident happened. According to villagers, he sat the body on fire in the house itself. Soon after they got to know, they called the police. The body has been sent for the postmortem, as per officials.Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and has initiated an investigation in the case.
