The Police on Thursday arrested a man from Delhis Prashant Vihar for allegedly raping a woman near her apartment on Friday, July 7. According to the reports, the man pretended to be a police officer to threaten the woman. The accused had been on the run after the incident and has been arrested by Delhi Police on Thursday.As per the information, the incident took place on July 7 when the woman was sitting in the car with her boyfriend. During all this, Ravi Solanki, the accused took the photos of the couple confidentially, visible from the cars mirror.Threatening the woman after showing her the video the man pretended to be a cop and raped her on the stairs of the building. After the incident woman, along with her boyfriend and family reached the police station and filed a complaint.Thereafter, the police began the search of the accused based on the sketch. Notably, the police arrested the accused and registered the case against him.
