Man found dead at Union minister Kaushal Kishore’s Lucknow residence

A youth who has been identified as Vinay Srivastava, has been found dead under suspicious circumstances at the house of Union minister Kaushal Kishore. According to the preliminary investigation, the youth was shot dead around 4.15 am at Kisore’s house Begaria village residence under Thakurganj police station area. Police has also recovered a pistol from the crime scene, which allegedly belongs to Kishore’s son, Vikas Kishore.

DCP West, Lucknow, Rahul Raj informed media persons that police are scanning the CCTV footage and trying to identify the culprits.

While taking to media persons, the officials said, “A person named Vinay Srivastav was shot dead. A pistol has been recovered which belongs to Vikas Kishore. Further investigation is underway. A forensic team has also arrived and we are also searching CCTV visuals. An FIR has also been registered in this case.”

Meanwhile, BJP MP Kaushal Kishore has assured full support for the victim’s family and said the culprit will not be spared. Adding to this, Kishore also said, “This is a matter of investigation. Forensic teams and police have started the investigation. The person involved will not be spared. We are standing in support of the family members of the deceased. I have no idea who was at the residence when the incident took place.”
