A man was crushed to death by a dumper truck in the national capitals Kashmere Gate area on Friday. According to the police officials the efforts are on to identify the deceased as per police officials. Meanwhile, the accused dumper driver, who has been identified as Ajay Kumar has been arrested. According to Delhi Police, they received a PCR call at Kashmere Gate Police Station, at 01:06 am regarding a fatal accident near Marghatwale Mandir, Ring Road.The police officials also informed that the victim has not been identified so far, but the unknown man, aged approximately 28-30 years was lying in a pool of blood. He died of severe injury on his head.After preliminary investigation it was found that one auto driver, Shahrukh Khan, a resident of New Jafarabad, had chased to dumper truck involved in the accident, police said.The auto driver caught the dumper truck driver near Police Picket Khajuri, which is about 7 to 8 kilometres from the spot of incident. the police have taken the dumper in possession and the truck driver Ajay Kumar, a resident of village, Kucha Nangla Kewal in Uttar Pradeshs Mainpuri district has been arrested under Section 279/304A Indian Penal Code.Further investigation is on in connection with the case.
