Man attacked live-in partner, after being refused for sexual relations

Shivam Kumar, a native of Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj has been arrested in connection with attacking her live-in partner with a screwdriver after she refused a sexual relationship with him. According to police officials, the girl has been badly injured in the incident.

The complaint said that the incident happened on Thursday when accused asked for physical relations but when she refused, he allegedly struck her on the neck. According to the police officials, the accused has been arrested from Gurugram’s Rajiv Chowk and FIR has been registered at the Sadar police station.

Gurugram Police, taking it to Twitter mentioned, “The accused #गुरुग्राम_पुलिस arrested the man for physical exploitation, rape and assault on the neck with a screwdriver with the intention of killing her on the pretext of marriage.”

Notably, the woman was living separately from her husband with Shivan Kumar in a rented room. The complainant said that her neighbours rushed her to the hospital.
