After a few days of a major triple-train mishap in Odisha’s Balasore, another major train accident was averted at Jharkhand’s Bokaro when a tractor crashed the railway gate near Bhojudih station when the New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express was passing from there.

According to the information, the incident happened at the Santhaldih railway crossing on Tuesday evening and the tractor got stuck between the railway track and the gate.

“A tractor crashed the railway gate when it was closing at the Santhaldih railway crossing of the Bhojudih station in Bokaro district. However, the driver of the train applied the brakes and the train stopped, averting any major accident,” Manish Kumar, DRM, Adra Division, South Eastern Railway.

Trains derail in Madhya Pradesh

On Tuesday night in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district, empty LPG rakes from a goods train derailed as it was passing a gas factory, preventing yet another tragedy.

The event took place at Shahpura Bhitoni station, close to Bharat Petroleum Depot. According to officials, the relief effort is still in progress. As of now, the derailment’s reason is unknown.

To avoid any potential leakage or subsequent accidents, prompt action and effective precautions were adopted. To ascertain the precise reasons for the derailment, authorities are looking into the situation.
