Mahashivratri: Security protocals in Prayaraj, VIP entry has been canceled for today

Mahashivratri Mahakumbh 2025:On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, a massive crowd of devotees is expected to gather at the Mahakumbh. Additionally, the entire city has been declared a no-vehicle zone to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent any inconvenience to the devotees. Let me inform you that on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, the final Amrit Snan of the Maha Kumbh will be held. A massive crowd of devotees is expected on this occasion. Millions of devotees have already arrived in Prayagraj, and the administration estimates that more than 30 million devotees may take a holy dip in the Sangam on this day.

VIP Protocol Cancelled, Three Zones Created for Bathing

Considering the large number of devotees arriving for the Kumbh, the administration has completely canceled the VIP protocol this time. Additionally, to ensure an organized bathing experience, three zones have been designated:

Jhunsi Zone

Arel Zone

Sangam Zone

NO Shiv Baraat or Procession Allowed

The Mahakumbh administration and the Prayagraj district administration held a meeting with the priests and managers of all major Shiva temples.

Sectoral System Implemented for Security and Crowd Control

For effective crowd management, the sectoral system has been implemented. Under this system:

Devotees must bathe in the sector they are assigned to.
