Thane Hit-and-Run Saga: In a startling revelation, Priya Singh, the victim accusing her alleged boyfriend, Ashwajit Gaikwad, son of a senior bureaucrat, of attempting to run her over in Thane city, has sought "justice" from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singh claims that police, under alleged pressure, attempted to coerce her into signing something on Saturday night, a move she vehemently resisted.

Complex Background: Eyebrows Raised Over Gaikwad's 'Influential' Father, Uncle

Adding a layer of complexity to the case, Ashwajit Gaikwad's father is the first non-IAS managing director of the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (MSRDC), and his uncle is a former BJP MP. The tangled web of connections has intensified the scrutiny on the incident.

"Last night, some policemen came. They were trying to force me to sign something. I refused because I did not have a lawyer, and neither did anyone from my family. They were forcing me, saying that whatever will happen tomorrow, sign now. When I did not sign, they got angry and went away," revealed Priya Singh on Sunday.

The incident unfolded near a Thane hotel early on Monday morning, resulting in the filing of a case against the accused, Ashwajit Gaikwad. Priya Singh disclosed that she had been in a relationship with Gaikwad for over four and a half years.

Relationship Turmoil: A Fight Turns Tragic

"I had a four-and-a-half-year relationship with my boyfriend. We were completely in love with each other. I did not know earlier that he was married. Later, when I came to know, he told me that they (his wife and him) were not together anymore, they had separated. He said that he wanted to marry me. I was staying with him for a long time. When I went to meet him that night, he was with his wife. I was in shock when I went to talk to him; he got aggressive. We had a fight," she claimed.
