Madhya Pradesh cabinet expansion: 28 ministers take oath

The new ministers of the Madhya Pradesh cabinet administered oath today.

As many as 28 cabinet ministers in the new government under the leadership of chief minister Mohan Yadav in Madhya Pradesh took oath on Monday. Out of 28, eighteen leaders took oath as cabinet ministers, six with independent charge took oath as Ministers of State and four took charge as state ministers. 

Karan Singh Verma, Rakesh Singh and Uday Pratap Singh take oath as ministers in Mohan Yadav-led government. Kailash Vijayvargiya and Prahlad Patel also sworn in. BJP's Kunwar Vijay Shah, Tulsi Ram Silawat, Vishwas Sarang and Nirmala Bhuria were among who took oath as ministers.

Pradumna Singh Tomar, Tulsi Silavat, Edel Singh Kasana, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Vijay Shah, Rakesh Singh, Prahlad Singh Patel, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Karan Singh Verma, Sampatia Uike, Uday Pratap Singh, Nirmala Bhuria, Vishwas Sarang, Govind Singh Rajput, Inder Singh Parmar, Nagar Singh Chauhan, Chaitanya Kashyap, Rakesh Shukla.

Minister of State (Independent Charge)

Krishna Gaur, Dharmendra Lodhi, Dilip Jaiswal, Gautam Tetwal, Lakhan Patel, Narayan Pawar, state Minister, Radha Singh, Pratima Bagri, Dilip Ahirwar, Narendra Shivaji Patel.

Eleven of the 28 ministers are from OBC category, as a part of continuing the party’s attempt to create balance ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
