College girl kidnapped from petrol pump in Gwalior, found at Guna lodge

The girl was kidnapped by two-bike-borne persons while disembarking from a bus in broad daylight in the Jhansi Road area of Gwalior on Monday morning.

A shocking incident happened in Madhya Pradesh, after a college girl from Datia was kidnapped on camera on Monday. After which, the police immediately initiated a search and was found at a lodge, said the police official.

College girl who was kidnapped from petrol pump, found at lodge

Speaking to news agency ANI, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gwalior, Rajesh Singh Chandel said that one out of two accused has been nabbed from Lahar.

He said, “The 19-year-old girl who was abducted near Naka Chandravadni petrol station in Gwalior yesterday has been found at a lodge in Guna. She was abducted by two motorbike-borne men. One of the men has been nabbed from Lahar.”

At least two police teams were formed to probe into this matter.

What happened on Monday?

The girl was kidnapped by two-bike-borne persons while disembarking from a bus in broad daylight in the Jhansi Road area of Gwalior on Monday morning.

This abduction incident took place near a petrol pump under the jurisdiction of Jhansi Road police station in the district at around 9:30 am on Monday.

Kidnapping captured in CCTV

The entire kidnapping episode was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump, showing two youths arriving on a two-wheeler, making her sit on the bike and escape from the spot.

According to the police, the girl is a resident of Bhind district and she came there with her family via bus.

She stepped down from the bus at Jhansi Road bus stand and during this, two youths on a motorcycle arrived there and took her away from the spot. The incident was captured in the CCTV footage and youths were seen making the girl sit on their bike in it," the official said on Monday.
