Chandigarh, March 3 - LNCT University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, under the patronage of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), is hosting 7th All India Inter-Varsity Gatka Tournament from March 8 to March 11 in which men and women teams from 14 universities across the nation would participate.

Stating this Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Secretary of LNCT Group of College’s informed that LNCT University has been acknowledged as one of the premier private universities in central India and a well known hub for higher education offering a diverse range of courses across various disciplines.

Mr. Jai Narain Chouksey, Chairman of the LNCT Group, highlighted the university's commitment to academic excellence, cutting-edge infrastructure, and forward-looking curriculum. "The LNCT is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals," he affirmed.

Prof (Dr) NK Thapak, Vice Chancellor of LNCT University, underscored the institution's focus on fostering a vibrant sports culture among its students. "Our campus is equipped with top-notch facilities and resources to support athletic pursuits," he added.

Dr. Pankaj Jain, Director of Sports, emphasized the university's unwavering dedication to promoting sports and extracurricular activities alongside academics. "We encourage our students to strive for sporting greatness while excelling in their studies," he remarked.

He said the LNCT University extends a heartfelt welcome to all participant players and technical officials and urged universities nationwide to send their teams in this four-day national Gatka extravaganza. He told that Tanwant Singh has been made the organizing secretary of this Gatka Championship by the university.
