A burglary in Madhya Pradeshs Indore took an unexpected turn when a thief was arrested after he decided to stay back and draw on the walls of the house he had broken into, police authorities confirmed on Wednesday.The arrested thief is apparently a fan of superstar Amitabh Bachchan, as his wall art included the name Agneepath – a film which featured Big B – as well as some dialogues from the actors iconic films.The thiefs accomplice managed to escape away with the loot, police officials said.A thief in Madhya Pradeshs Indore – apparently an Amitabh Bachchan fan, has been arrested as he stayed back inside a house to make wall art. As the family members were asleep, the burglars managed to steal an undisclosed amount of cash as well as various pieces of gold and silver jewellery.However, while his accomplice Sonu chose to leave the house after the burglary, Vijay was apparently fascinated with the aesthetics of the houses walls. He found some sketch pens and started drawing and scribbling on the walls, as per Additional Commissioner of Police Rajiv Bhadoriya.Indore thief held after family woken up by drawing commotionWhile engrossed in his wall art, Vijay inadvertently struck a glass sheet within the room, causing a crashing sound that woke up the Kadri family from their sleep, ACP Bhadoriya said.The police soon arrived at the scene and took Vijay into custody. Explaining the events, Sadar Bazar Police Stations head constable Om Prakash said, “He seemed to be a fan of Amitabh Bachchan as he had written a couple of dialogues from Bachchan films on the wall.”During the subsequent investigation, Vijay confessed to his involvement in the burglary and stealing jewellery and cash, ACP Bhadoriya said.
