In a horrific incident reported from Maihar town in Madhya Pradesh, an 11-year-old girl was found dead in a temple with bite marks all over her body. According to the police officials, the condition of the minor is serious. The police have also arrested two accused in connection with the case, out of which one works at the cow shelter run by the temple committee.Intervening in the case, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed the officials to ensure that the best medical treatment is been given to the survivor and strict action against the accused. The incident happened near a jungle that is close to the temple of Goddess Sharda in Maihar town in Madhya Pradesh.The chief minister of the state tweeted, “I have received information about the rape of a daughter in Maihar, my heart is full of pain, I am distressed. I have instructed the police that no criminal should escape. The police have arrested the criminals. Instructions have been given to the administration to make arrangements for the proper treatment of the daughter.
