Land Grabbed Using Fake Documents: KDA Files FIR Against 13 People In Kanpur

The Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has recently registered an FIR against 25 people for land grabbing using fake documents. The KDA had been investigating the forgery of plots for several days, and on the instructions of KDA VC Arvind Singh, OSD Avneesh Singh completed the investigation and submitted the report to the Vice President. The investigation found that in many cases, the involvement of the authority’s employees has also been found.

Fake Documents Used for Land Grabbing

The investigation revealed that the accused used fake documents of the KDA for land grabbing. In one case, Asha Chaurasia was allotted an EWS plot of 47.64 sqm in Ratanpur, and the plot was later sold to Kuldeep Kamal. However, the check for sale was not paid in the bank, and both parties have been reported.

FIR Registered Against Accused

KDA VC Arvind Singh lodged an FIR against the 25 accused, including Ramsevak, Dinesh Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Yogesh Kumar, Gopesh Mishra, Virendra Srivastava, Nanku, Dinesh Singh, Vishwanath, Anand Kumar, Gyanendra Trivedi, Amit, Ajay Nigam, Sunil Kumar, Mahesh Sharma, Ram Singh, Anil Verma, Sunil, Mamta Gupta, Dharamveer Singh, Kamlesh Kumar, and Girjashankar. A total of 13 FIRs were lodged against the accused, in which 25 people were involved. The 13 cases date back to the period between 1991 and 2000.  

No Reply or Objection Filed by Accused

The KDA had sent several notices to the accused to file the original certificates and affidavits after the fake cases were revealed during the audit. However, neither one filed the reply nor raised any objection. Based on this, a report was lodged at Swaroop Nagar police station on the complaint of senior officers, and FIRs were registered against the accused in various cases of cheating.

Legal Action Being Taken

According to ACP Swaroopnagar Brijnarayan Singh, legal action is being taken against the accused in various cases, including cheating. KDA OSD Sat Shukla and Avnish Singh have lodged 6-6 reports, while Law Officer Shashibhushan Rai has lodged one FIR at Swaroop Nagar police station.
