In an alleged land-for-job fraud case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a chargesheet against Tejashwi Yadav and others involved in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday. Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, and several other people and firms were charged in the document. The chargesheet has been filed before Special Judge Geetanjali Goel.

The case involving the land-for-job scam is brought against the former Union Minister of Railways Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Bihar Rabri Devi, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, and several other individuals. Due to the claimed conduct being performed, the CBI has filed a new chargesheet in the matter, which was disclosed to the court by Special Public Prosecutor Advocate DP Singh.

Here’s what BJP leader Ajay Alok said

On RJD chief Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Tejashwi Yadav named in a chargesheet filed by CBI in a land-for-jobs alleged scam case, BJP leader Ajay Alok, says “Nitish Kumar will resign from the post of Bihar CM in next 10-15 days. On the 13th, when they will be presented before the Court, the CBI will ask for their remand and if they get their custody…”

Notably, the court granted regular bail to former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, former chief minister of Bihar Rabri Devi, their daughter, RJD MP Misa Bharti, and other suspects in a case involving a land-for-job scam on March 15.

The Rouse Avenue Court recently gave the CBI more time to submit an additional charge sheet in the land-for-job scam. Misa Bharti, the daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, was present at the hearing.

While granting more time, the Court expressed its displeasure with CBI and stated that it was improper for them to keep delaying this process. The case will be heard again on July 12th.
