After meeting NCP President Sharad Pawar on Thursday, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has now sought time on Friday morning to meet Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi. AAP leader will be discussing the government’s ‘undemocratic and unconstitutional ordinance’, as well as the general attack on the federal government’s structure and the current political situation.
Taking it to Twitter, Arvind Kejriwal wrote, “Sought time this morning to meet Cong President Sh Kharge ji and Sh Rahul Gandhi ji to seek Cong support in Parl against undemocratic n unconstitutional ordinance passed by BJP govt and also to discuss general assault on federal structure and prevailing political situation.”

The AAP administration reportedly called the Centre’s May 19 ordinance, which established a body to oversee the transfer and posting of Group-A officers in Delhi, a ruse in light of the Supreme Court’s decision about control of services.
Notably, Kejriwal with other senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday met NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Shive Sena President Uddav Thackeray to seek the support against the ordinance passed by the Centre. Backing Kejriwal on the same, Sharad Pawar assured him for all the support and said, “There is a crisis in the country and it’s not an issue limited to Delhi. NCP and the people of Maharashtra will support Kejriwal. We will also talk to other leaders to support Kejriwal. We must focus on bringing all non-BJP parties together.”
