Karnataka: Accident on NH 44, kills 5 while 5 others in critical state

In a recent road accident, at least five people were killed and five others sustained injuries after they met with an accident on National Highway 44 in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur area, said the police on Thursday.

These people were travelling from Bagepalli to Chikkaballapur, according to Bagepal Traffic Police said.

The five injured were rushed to a hospital and their condition is said to be critical, they said.
