Mufti Qaiser Farooq, one of the prominent leaders of the Pakistani terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), was shot dead by “unknown men” in Pakistan’s Karachi, as per media reports.
Qaiser Farooq was in in close relationship with the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack, Hafiz Saeed. He was also one of the founding members of the Pakistani militant organisation.

According to media reports, the 30-year-old Mufti Qaiser Farooq was shot in a “targeted attack” near a religious institution in the Samanabad area on Saturday.
The terrorist leader was shot in the back and was shifted to a hospital immediately. However, Farooq died during treatment, as per media sources.
A CCTV footage is circulating on social media that claims that it could be the video of the killing of Qaiser Farooq. The authenticity of the video has not been verified yet.
