According to the latest updates, at least three people are killed and many are feared trapped in the mine that collapsed in Jharkhand’s Bhowra colliery area on Friday. The incident occurred at around 10:30 am near Bharat Coking Coal Limited, when the illegal mine collapsed.

As per the statement by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sindri, the exact number of casualties is not known. Several people who are feared trapped will be known after the rescue operation will end.

The eyewitness of the incident confirmed that many villagers were engaged in illegal mining when the mine caved in. The local people brought out the three people from the debris and rushed them to the nearest hospital, where they were declared dead.
