In a joint police-army confrontation that occurred on Monday, in the Chassana area of Jammu and Kashmir‘s Reasi district, a terrorist was killed.

Two terrorists were reported to be present in the area, according to the local police. Both a police officer and a jawan suffered injuries from the shootout. The operation is underway to find the additional terrorist that was also reported to the department.

The official statement

The ADGP, Jammu, Mukesh Singh, mentioned, “An encounter started at Reasi on the basis of Police input regarding the presence of two terrorists. Encounter going on in Gali Sohab in Tuli area of Chassana. Police and Army are carrying out the operation.”
