As Israel-Palestine tension is still continuing for the fourth consecutive day, the Delhi Police has now beefed up security around the Israeli embassy and Chabad House in the wake of the ongoing war that erupted since Palestinian militant group Hamas launched its surprise attack on Israel on October 07, said an official on Tuesday.
According to the official, the local police stationed around the embassy in New Delhi and Chabad House, located in Chandni Chowk in central Delhi, have been directed to maintain a tight vigil.
The authorities have also directed to increase the vigil around both the installations, he added.
On Saturday, Israel witnessed a surprise and unprecedented attack by Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, in its southern parts. At least 700 people have been killed and more than 2,100 injured in Israel. Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, there are nearly 500 deaths and over 2,000 wounded in Israel’s counterattack, according to reports.
